So there’s this new book which has an accompanying soundtrack. The book is titled “Rules to Rock by” written by Josh Farrar (who’s a songwriter). It has an accompanying cd (sold separately) with the same title. So while you’re reading the book, you can get to the songs performed by the band in the story. The plot is fairly simple. A teenage girl trying to create her own rock band (sounds so much like the Freaky Friday movie plot).
Anyhow, it seems interesting and it made me wonder if it will actually soon be a trend. I don’t know how much difference it would make though, in terms of impact, since we already have audio books, kindle and even devices that reads out words when you point them on the words.
